Action Plans
- Work on unity and bridge the gap between different factions.
- Create a new structure for the FEI Board that has the support of all continents.
- Convince all stakeholders of the need to develop and globalise without delay. Create a structural entity for development and a partnership with established federations with a presence in the regions.
- Broaden the welfare discussion far beyond clean sport. It should include horse management at all levels of the sport, disease control and clean sport.
- Introduce a fresh approach by changing people’s attitudes (listen to your members and then act upon it).
- Ask technical committees to study if we can cut rules and regulations back. Ensure the rule books recognise different levels and are clear and understandable for all.
- Reduce the workload for volunteers and staff by reducing the number of plans, defining priorities and sticking to timelines, even at the highest levels.
- Restore the financial equilibrium the FEI enjoyed before 2006 (no single source dependency).
